The filtering medium is continuous filament spun glass, and the frame is made with one continuous piece of chipboard to guard against corner separation, further strengthened by a metal retainer. To ensure peak equipment protection and energy efficiency, these filters should be changed monthly during periods of high use. This filter is effective against household dust, debris, and lint, and it lasts up to 30 days. It is UL Class II rated and protects heating and air conditioning equipment. The sturdy chipboard frame and metal retainer contribute to the filter's strength.

With a MERV 4 rating, this filter removes household dust, pollen, and lint.
